Character Development

Through All Things EQ, our students have learned to say goodbye to any negative self-talk. It's natural for our children to have positive and negative thoughts throughout the day. There is no point in feeling shame for having a negative thought because that only invites more negativity. It's normal to experience a range of different thoughts and feelings. However, you can teach your child to say goodbye to a negative thought without giving it more than its due, and when possible, replace it with a more encouraging one. After all, our children are not influenced by a single, fleeting thought but rather by the repeated messages they tell themselves.

Intervention Sessions

Students are participating in a 30-minute intervention four days a week in an area of need. The students move between classes to ensure that they are getting the help they need to master their classwork. They have learned to enjoy this additional support during the school day and have begun asking teachers if they can attend specific interventions! We are ecstatic to see our students taking control of their own learning and having high expectations for themselves.

New HOSA Chapter

Quentin STEM Academy is working on opening a middle school HOSA chapter! HOSA is a student-led organization that works to empower future health professionals. We know many of our students are looking forward to a career in the health field, and we want to do all we can to set them on the right path!
